Change Jingles but it Ain't Cheap

The ushering in of a new era demands adjustments. Such a time as this comes in quickly like a mighty rushing wind and all that is not stable is shaken from propped up foundations. The unsound principles and practices on which they were base were destined to tumble. In America and the world the winds of change are dismantling an economy that was improperly built in the first place.

Greed always leads to need. We can so clearly see this in the recent bailout requests form major banks and corporation CEOs, who have pocketed millions from the revenues of their plummeting organizations without conscience. Now their greed has advanced into need and tax payers are again being disrespected and robbed.

Consider that the economic decline started long before corporate deficits surfaced.  In fact, the United States Congress is just as much at fault as corporate heads.  Many congressional representatives sold out the American people when they deregulated the financial system, allowing banks and credit card companies to financially rape hard working consumers with outlandish fees

And legalized criminal transactions. Now the bandits are begging.

A change has come and it ain't cheap.

Financial as well as spiritual bankruptcy has occurred and none of the pundits seem to have a solution.  Greed and/or racism is totally blinding, can't you see?  So by divine providence what was unthinkable just a year ago--someone other than a white male in the oval office--has manifested.  And President Elect Barack Obama is being desperately looked to for direction and solutions.  A change has come and it ain't cheap.

While being tried by these economic times, we're being pushed to value much of what was taken for granted in the past.  Yes, a change has come and it ain't cheap.

Faithfully,
